Introducing the Wyvern Cantata 236

Following the success of the Wyvern Cantata 226, we are pleased to introduce the larger Wyvern Cantata 236.
The Cantata range is specifically designed for church use, where sound quality is the paramount consideration. The emphasis is firmly on tonal excellence rather than overly large specifications that may appear impressive on paper but do not necessarily complement the size or acoustic of the building.
All stops are independently generated, including individual mixture ranks, ensuring exceptional clarity and authenticity. The Cantata 236 features a carefully considered specification tailored to suit most small to medium-sized churches. The organ is housed in a high-quality, robust oak console built in the classic “Shaker” style, featuring an abundance of solid oak. Standard features include an oak slat roll-top, a comprehensive piston control system, including both departmental and general pistons.
An extensive generator system ensures optimal quality for each individual voice, supported by six high-powered external audio channels. This provides flexible separation between organ ranks and departments, enhancing clarity and spatial definition.
The Cantata range can be specified with standard stop tabs, traditional wooden drawstops, or motorised K.A. drawstops. If required, the instrument can also be fitted with an internal monitoring system, allowing the organist to accurately assess and control the resulting sound. It can be further customised with a wide range of optional extras, including toe pistons and wood-capped keys. The audio system is individually configured at the time of order to suit each installation, and every instrument is voiced and tonally finished on site to ensure it performs at its very best within its intended acoustic.
