SOUND
There is a comprehensive array of general and departmental thumb and toe pistons and now upgraded with an enhanced audio system with 8 channels and 20 speakers.
Detailed recordings have been made of individual stops taken from renowned pipe organs. Analysis of the sampled stops have enabled us to faithfully store the nature and timbre of the original in the organ memory. Powerful memories and dramatically faster processors allow swift data processing, creating a degree of realism hitherto thought impossible. Although the voicing is unashamedly British, an in built personal controller incorporates voicing tools that allow the organist to change the sound character to suit personal preferences.
CRAFTSMANSHIP
The Toccata has a high quality Shaker style console with understated good looks. The console is impressive with an abundance of solid oak including an oak roll top. The keyboards are a delight with a crisp upper touch. For home installations the organ has an integral audio system with eight channels and ten speakers on four planes. The specification ranges from a 32 ft Pedal to a 5 rank Mixture – the sound is stunning.
“Having played some Bach on the German Baroque voicing, there is some wonderful similarity to the sound of North German Organs (some dating back to Bach’s day) which I have on a couple of DVDs where the organs are played by John Scott Whiteley (ex York Minster). Fabulous sound! – Bach as it would have sounded when he wrote it! I really am chuffed with the 346″
